  30. I have the same problem as you do.  In my case, the extra phone options that 
  31. usually come with company phones render a modem unusable.  My office line had 
  32. to be changed to a line that did not support the myriad (and in my case 
  33. unused) of features (but still went through our PBX).  The chief reason is 
  34. that our PBX is at capacity and the management won't do anything about it 
  35. until we move into a bigger building (floating time frames, it seems).
